I bought some half-fancy brushes when I was feeling down one day with the thought that I would give painting a real go this time. I have dabbled over the years, but always hated everything I did and would give up (for a short time and then would try again).

I’ve really been trying to stop expecting everything to perfect when I paint. I’ve had to loosen up and just let things flow and look… how they look. I think, because I have mostly done digital art, it is hard to let go of that control and perfectionism. So, here are a couple of paintings I have done over the last few weeks.
