I bought some half-fancy brushes when I was feeling down one day with the thought that I would give painting a real go this time. I have dabbled over the years but always hated everything I did and would give up (for a short time and then would try again).

I’ve really been trying to stop expecting everything to be perfect when I paint. I’m learned to loosen up and just let things flow and turn out… however they turn out! I think, because I have mostly done digital art, it is hard to let go of that control and perfectionism. So, here are a couple of paintings I have done over the last few weeks.
