This year for Halloween I decided to combine two of my favourite things, PokemonGO and Studio Ghibli. I originally started playing PokemonGO back in 2016 and lost interest, but now I’m back playing with a vengeance and possibly need an intervention (according to sources close to me).
I decided to try doing my latest vector with pastels. I’m not great at choosing colours that are complementary, so I found this site called Coolors and it is a life saver! This is very different to my usual style, but I really love it – I think it looks quite elegant.
I’ve been hanging out over at Instagram a lot lately and have been inspired so much by the incredible artwork I’ve seen. Today I tried a new thing – a challenge was offered up by artist Vaulchen to use only a six colour palette. I have to admit, I really enjoyed the challenge of working with only a few colours – I hope you like it!
